What is a flat shot, and why is it enough?
A flat shot is the product photographed on a plain surface or on a mannequin, under simple light. Most brands already have them — those standard frames uploaded to the e-commerce site. Our process doesn't even need studio quality: a sharp, well-lit frame taken with a phone will do. Because what we need is not the product itself, but its information: the texture of the fabric, where the seams sit, the true tone of the colour, the rhythm of the print.
From product to scene: what happens?
When the flat frame reaches our studio, our system first analyses the product — the weight of the fabric, its sheen under light, how it will fall on the body. Then we choose the AI model that fits your brand, the set and the pose. The product is not randomly "pasted" onto the model; the scene is built from scratch around the physics of the garment. How the fabric gathers at the bend of an arm, how a skirt sweeps in a walk — everything behaves as it would in a real shoot.
Where realism is won
Three details decide whether an editorial frame feels like a "real shoot": skin texture, fabric behaviour and light consistency. Pores, eye detail and jewellery reflections being right in a face close-up; fabric pulling slightly at the seam allowance; the light in the scene breaking at the same angle on the model's skin and on the product.
